NOS Evening News, 20 August 2015: reaction Privacy First to NS trial of OV-chipkaart

Today became known that NS can now start warning travellers who forget to check out by email, after which the amount deducted can be automatically refunded. For now, this is a trial with travellers with a personal OV-chipkaart. In exchange for this "extra service", however, the NS wants access to personal travel data. Privacy First is critical of this form of service in which travellers have to surrender their privacy.
