RTL News, 11 November 2014: report on Privacy First lawsuit against license plate parking

On 11 November 2014, the Amsterdam District Court heard Privacy First chairman Bas Filippini's case against license plate parking. This was in response to a parking fine Filippini had received after he refused to enter his license plate number at a parking meter. Indeed, Privacy First considers this a violation of the right to privacy in the sense of anonymity in public spaces. RTL attended the court hearing with a camera crew.
