RTL News, 3 April 2014: television interview with Privacy First chairman on ANPR data storage

On Thursday morning, 3 April 2014, RTL News had the scoop: Privacy First will file a lawsuit against the State as soon as parliament passes a bill on the storage of everyone's license plate data for investigation and prosecution. A current bill by minister Opstelten stipulates that all license plates will be stored via Automatic number plate recognition (automatic number plate recognition, ANPR) will be photographed and kept in a police database for four weeks.
