National Privacy Debate webcast, 29 May 2012: government and privacy

On 11 June 2012, the National Privacy Debate location. (Click HERE for its announcement on television in November 2011). With a series of webcasts, Webwereld is already sharpening opinions in the run-up to this national event. Led by journalist Brenno de Winter each time several experts cross swords on an aspect of the topic of privacy. In this fourth video, De Winter talks to Vincent Böhre of the Privacy First Foundation and social media expert Jan Willem Alphenaar on the doomsday image of the surveillance state, in which the government keeps a constant eye on citizens. According to Privacy First, we are not heading towards such a society, but are already in the middle of it. How did this get this far and what can be done about it?
