NRC Handelsblad, 17 Feb 2011: 'Higher appeal over fingerprint storage'
"The Privacy First foundation and 21 co-plaintiffs are appealing the case over central storage of fingerprints. The plaintiffs believe their privacy will be affected if the government goes ahead with the plan for a fingerprint database. Earlier this month, the court in The Hague declared the plaintiffs inadmissible. Another case on the new Passport Act, brought by Louise van Luijk who has been without a passport since 2009 because she refused to give up her fingerprint. The verdict in that case will come on 23 March."
