Volkskrant, 7 May 2010: 'Lawsuit over fingerprint on pass'

"The foundation Privacy First is taking court action to stop the storage of fingerprints of citizens who need a new passport. According to the foundation, this violates privacy laws. Together with 22 citizens, the foundation has sued the State. Since September 2009, data from fingerprints and facial scans have been entering passports and identity cards."
