“AIVD and MIVD can get to work on better powers within a new Intelligence and Security Services Act (Wiv) if the Senate also agrees. Privacy First will then gather a coalition for a court case to prevent this.
'Should the Wiv pass through the Senate unscathed, it is highly likely that ground proceedings with a broad coalition of civil society organisations and possibly companies will follow. The first exploratory talks between Privacy First and relevant law firms are already planned to this end,' says Privacy First's Vincent Böhre. (...)"
