Passport law in new phase
Mr Judith van Schie of the law firm Bousie Advocaten in Amsterdam issued a detailed and expertly praised opinion on 2 October 2009 on various options of dealing with the abuses in the new Passport Act and the consequences of those options. This opinion was submitted to relevant parties for inspection. Briefly, the advice was to follow a civil law procedure and to follow a certain line in it.

Explored the ways in which a winning lawsuit could be brought against the State of the Netherlands with the aim of denouncing the current new Passport Act, which entered into force on 21 September 2009, and demanding a secure passport and better legislation for the new Dutch passport.
